A common problem, I'm sure.... I need some longer battery terminal bolts ! With all the crap I have on the bike now, such as Optimate and Quick shifter cables connected directly to the battery, the standard bolt is too short ! Has anyone sourced longer bolts and if so, from where or what size do I need? Any other solutions>???
Just wedge a tiny bit of card underneath the nut. The card will hold the nut up higher and the bolt will just push into the cardboard...........Simples!
i did similar I placed a small plastic washer under the nut. that way the bolt bites sooner and easier.
