Since I bought my rr9 last year at low speed I get a click when opening and closing throttle. When previously posted about it it seems normal but I don't like it. Can I do any harm by greasing front sprocket shaft to see if this helps? If it's ok what sort of grease should I use?

Out of interest have you checked the rubbers in the rear sprocket?

    Front Sprocket is fecked (worn)

Loosen the chain and wind it off the sprocket and look at it closely, you'll see the teeth are curved over with the tips facing backwards towards the rear.

New Chain & Sprox time matey! ;)

Will try to look at condition of chain sprocket and Cush drive. Only 8000 miles on bike. If I need new chain and sprockets do you recommend oem front sprocket so it has rubber thing?

No rubber on the Front Sprock, or Rear for that matter!

The Rubber Cush drive is under the rear Sprock set in to the wheel hub and is a separate component.

Worth checking the whole lot out just in case something is loose, it may have nothing to do with the chain n sproxs ..... Can't be having bits fall off now can we  :D
