    Tragically killed on the last lap of the super stock race today at the TT, gutted!!

    so sad - Also I bet the winners were celebrating as the news came in.

    I stopped listening just after MD came in to travel home, thought all was well after Gary's spill, tragic loss to the sport ! He was a tough SOB a great rider and will be sadly missed

    Cannot believe this - My mate was the first person on scene and very, very narrowly missed the bikes / debris etc. in the incident.

    To say he is shaken is an understatement - he is a very competent marshal over there, goes each year and has his favourit post on the mountain.

    A local lad Karl was from Aston, Rotherham. Have followed his career for years a big strong lad was Karl.
    Tragic for his family,am really wondering if its all worth it been a bad week.

    It's a sad loss to the sport, a legend of road racing then a legend within the IoM scene and now a legend of BSB. There's some serious racing going on upstairs this month, RIP guys.
