I'm thinking of a new exhaust I have a 2007 Blade. I'm on a budget what should I offer for a YOSHIMURA RS-5 EXHAUST (just end can). Stainless would be fine with me.
    Mike.

    Hi mate.

My RR-7 came with a Yoshimura RS-5 slip on.

Looks good, sounds good and is pretty light so I'm well pleased with it:

Are you running it with a Power Commander or is it okay standard. Looks great are you pleased with the sound?

No completely standard headers, cat, lambda etc.

Sounds great. Nice roar but not ridiculously loud.

Fitted my RS-5 a few weeks ago, straightforward to fit, very nice sound, fairly deep but not too loud. I've been through my 'LOUD' exhaust phase, don't want really loud anymore. It would 'maybe' pass an MOT without the baffle but I'd fit it to be sure.

I got it from Calsport from their 'ebay' section, £516. It was £30 cheaper direct from their website shop? Their site didn't state if it came with the small link pipe (it did) but I was in a bit of a hurry before I went away so just ordered it from the ebay site to make sure.

Turns out the higher ebay price was just to take into account the ebay fees, so if you buy one from them order it direct. The can comes as a full kit with all the its and pieces inc' baffle.

    Hi

I got a Scorpion carbon can bolt on for £379. Have to say the fit and quality of build is superb. Good sound even with baffles in. Light and a bit smaller than others.

I like it, but I would say that ;)

Waiting for tail tidy to neaten it up underneath.

    Good luck.

Cheers Mike - definately on the wishlist.

Can I also ask where the tail tidy came from? Is that an R&G one or is there a better choice?

R&G, already on the bike, I removed the little LED number plate light to allow me to raise the number plate and tidy it up further. Also the two little cowls above the can were trimmed to give a more pleasing aesthetic (I think that's a word) and to show off the Yoshi logo.

My yoshi was about 95db (I think) without baffle in.

Bought this recently yet to fit it delivered from California £325. I took the risk of customs duty/taxes and got away with it.
    Selling a Micron soon.

Good luck to you, I reckon you were lucky tho', bought quite a few pricey items from the USA and always had to pay customs and VAT.
