I remember paying close to £200 when i bought these last year.. now discontinued. Little too small for me.. maybe worn near 20 times and machine washed afew times. Pics to follow - 32" waist Should you ever have the need to use it to lift a hummer - you need these jeans... lol These jeans are constructed from ARMALITH®, a worldwide patented composite material which is a unique combination of a fibre generally reserved for aerospace and military applications, and a most familiar and comfortable fibre: cotton. Not sure...will check... The material is very tough..check the links..its a complete different level from kevalar... There was a video of someone being dragged on his back side by a car ...and the jeans did not give way...
Ah OK...it has something in the knees...I remember that...but it's not solid and not accesable Will check when I get home
looking at the specs..it does not have armour - uses "3D shock Reinforcements" that i would think works better then armour? feels like exta padding, on the knees and hips.
Some more info on Armalith (what these jeans are made from) Textile World - Armalith® Provides Alternative To Leather rance-based Esquad® has launched a line of raw-denim jeans that feature Armalith®, a composite fabric produced from a fiber — originally developed for nontextile applications — that has been reworked, retreated and combined with a cotton thread, and then is woven using a special process. The jeans are targeted to motorcycling enthusiasts. According to Esquad, Armalith is at least as strong, if not stronger than, leather, while it offers the look, pliability and breathability of denim. The company reports the breaking limit of a trouser-leg made with Armalith is greater than 10 tons. The four designs in the new jeans line provide such safety features as a heat shield, hip reinforcement, impact reinforcement and ventilation, among others.
