Not been on here much but looking for some info I've just bought a CBR1000RR-A from a guy in Northern Ireland its 4 years old in August but hasn't got a mot.....You don't need a mot in NI till the bikes 4 years old looking for any advice on this.....do I need to get it mot'd now as it in uk now although not registered. Any info much appreciated I was looking at getting it registered in uk although I don't think I need to. Cheers Matsuyama
You'll be filling out the v5c to show it's now a mainland registered vehicle, which means you will fall under mainland rules not norn iron ones. You need to mot the vehicle as soon as possible otherwise it's being used unlawfully, insurance won't be valid etc.
No mate, a Northern Ireland plate is fine here, that's why so many of them end up as cherished transfers.
