Recieved these today. They bolt onto the end of the swingarm for the Gilles lifters.

well not my bike but fitted an Active quick action throttle kit to Danny's SP and then some heated grips..

Then on another pals bike, refitted the exhaust that I gutted the cat on, changed the oil and filter and started putting one of these chinese fairing kits on.. very good quality and only £285.. will post some pics tomorrow when its finished

What did I do to my bike today?

Put the blade into 'tour mode' this afternoon.
I learnt a lot from last years euro trip and decided to have a thining out session.
No longer feel the need to compete with NASA or to have 12v power supply into the actual Givi tank bag "other than using it to charge the phone/camera" it had no other use.
So made up a tail with an inline socket which plugs in under the rear seat unit to the optimate feed from/to the battery added to this a double USB adaptertook the seat off and the tank cover ran the TomTom feed to the front and put it all back together & fitted the tank bag.

Maplins plus £2.99 equals Job done. :)

Drained out the old fuel and replaced with fresh, adjusted the brake light switch after fitting it few weeks ago along with return spring and fitted new exhaust rubber. Word of advice to anyone buying secondhand rear sets take the time to check everythings there, Gilles are good in that there's loads of info on their site parts list, manuals etc. Bought mine second hand off local Honda dealer who had a race bike and was a bit naive really...Now all sorted. Oh and machined polished the heel plates. Last thing the brake light switch, if you buy the one that's listed for the VCR's it's £50+ the one for the FXR rearsets is the same but £25 go figure :)

Not my subframes, just got one of these made up. These were used on the TT Legends bike in 2013 as seen in photo.

Bought the brake light switch from Calsport, usually use Performance Parts but thought if give them a go.
