Can anyone recommend a fuel stabiliser, bikes been sat for two years with same fuel... I've been running it up but not sure I'm going to get it back on the road this year so want to put some stabiliser in. Or am I too late, it doesn't have much fuel in, was going to put some more fuel in and add stabiliser. Cheers

Dano you put the stabiliser in the tank before you mothball it!! I stored my bike for 1.5 year in a dry, room temperature area, with full tank of petrol and Sta-bil stabiliser. It worked like a treat. Unfortunately it is difficult to get this product in the UK now. If you plan another long term storage, empty the old fuel in there, you can try Putoline or Wurth but do it before you put the bike away.
If fuel is 2 years old I would drain as much as possible; put a litre of fresh in; put the kill switch on and crank it over a few times; start it up and take it for a ride, or at least run the engine up to temp.
Yeah I figured that, but now im panickin, been so busy with new job times flown and bike was never intended to be sat that long tbh, think I may be best draining the system and replacing with fresh fuel... How easy is this to do? Would I be ok just draining the tank and filling up with fresh?
Drain tank but don't fill it too much though. If you do have problems it is easier to remove a tank if it's not too full.
Ok cheers I'll pick up a syphon today hopefully, bike starts fine, but think I'll get it all out to be on safe side and stick some fresh in. Hopefully it'll be back on the road in a month or two, just need to tax, MOT and ins.
Old fuel drained out 2 litres of BP Ultimate put in looks a nicer colour and peace of mind now. Picked up a £2.99 syphon from Halfords got almost everything out
