Not used the bike for a couple of weeks. But went to use the bike last night and the battery didn't have enough power turn the bike over.
(I hadn't connected the battery to a charger as would have expected the battery not to go flat in 2 weeks and the battery is less than a year old)
I know Fireblade batteries are a bit weak but to loose charge in 2 weeks, is that the norm ?

Seems a little excessive... do you have an alarm?

No alarm but hefty ground anchor.

My battery goes flat in about two days, but I do have a Datatool alarm which are renowned for sucking the life out of batteries...

Yeah, I've not heard of ground anchors draining batteries, but you never know ;)

Anyway, that is odd... a good battery should last months if there is no drain (i.e. no alarm). Does your battery have history? Has it been let flat before?

If you connect that to the battery it will drain it ;)

Battery is on its way out, or you have a drain on it. Simple electrical test with a multi-meter will tell you.
