    Would it not be cheaper and better to get fold up levers??
    Why add weight to the bike?

    They are more for protecting the levers from being caught by another rider and activating the lever. They are compulsory in the likes of MotoGP these days because of a crash, I believe at Donnigton, where a rider crashed due to his brake lever being activated. Can't remember who it was but the crash was spectacular.

    get short levers, then they shouldn't be caught be another rider?

    Yes these are the ones I have. Quality is outstanding only trouble is they show up the asv levers now as have a better finish than the levers lol

    Oh and alloy sport is part of oberon so quality is assured, I saw these being manufactured very impressive!

    Riders involved were Jeremy McWiliams and Roberto Rolfo in the 250 gp in Mugello.
