As I can't find it on their website, is it fair to presume that the PC software isn't available for the Mac ?.

Looks like I am going to have to dust off my old laptop then.

Can't you just run some virtualisation software like vmware fusion/parallels? I do on my windows machines for kit that needs old version of OS such as XP. Or you could just get pc that runs windows instead of a knobbled linux ;)

To be fair, I have been using PC's daily since 1990 and learned to love the quirks that Bill Gates like to throw in to his operating systems.

I have also used UNIX LINUX and Novell Netware over the years, all with pro's and cons. Like a lot of people, it was the iphone that got me into apple, then out of curiosity I bought an iMac when they came out, and couldn't find anything about it I didn't like. I am now an apple convert with macbook, iMac, iPad and iphone.

I have the iMac as a bootcamp dual boot in to windows, but don't want to waste a load of HDD space, time and money doing the same on the macbook.

It isn't like the PC5 software does anything other than a basic IO function. You would think an Apple port would have been a big plus for sales.
