I've just came back from our Spain tour with them, and I love them. Even more so than the Sportsmarts.

Also ABV has done the same miles as myself on the same roads using the Sportsmarts, and the Sportsmarts were showing more wear than the M7 RR's.

I'll be sticking a new rear in once this 1 is done. Really good tyre.

great to hear Colin. I have been lucky enough to be given a free set for the blade via mate of a mate who works for Pirelli/mets Uk arm of the company. I've only used Dunlop and bridgestone so wanted to get a idea from people who have used them before I try them out.

You won't be disappointed mate. They leave the Sportsmarts feeling wooden in comparison.

I had confidence in them from the off.

I agree with col. Previously had the m5, but the m7rr are something else. Go way hotter too, and I just rode like I usually do from the off, didn't bother scrubbing them in.

just read this months performance bike and they gave them a good write up on track, will be having a road review next issue! :(

    1. Rosso Corsa 92/100
    2. Metzeler M7 77/100
    3. Sportsmart 2 74/100
    4. S20 Evo 72/100
    5. the only one they didn't like Power sport 53/100

    Quote"
While the Pirelli delivered the fastest lap times, the truth is our testers would have been happy to lap all day on the Bridgstones, Dunlops and Metzelers too, for tyres
designed to work in everyday conditions, they give a great track riding experience, even if they have not got the sheer pace of the Rosso Corsa, the Michelin just is not in the same ball park on the track"

Might well be my next road tyre :) as more longevity i reckon to a corsa?

depends if you want lots of miles out of a tyre. I was going for Supercorsa's next until these dropped through the door

I will give a report back once I have added a few miles on them and used them at Cadwell for the 2 day TD

I can change my own tyres now, so thinking track tyres for track and need a good road tyre, so thought the M7 seemed quite good :D
the Rosso Corsa does seem a great all round if you don't want to keep changing them between track days though :)
