Acumen DG8 gear indicator 2008

Hi,
Can anyone help out and show me where the plug and play loom fits to the 2008 'blade, as I can't easily see it

could be wrong but that looks very similar to the ABS 'diagnostic' plug

 

Left hand side (sat on bike).....behind fairing if im right ??

 

Accumen loom fits between the two plugs (pull apart) and insert your plug...... I fink ??

 

Those piccys are for the GI pro indicator.........

I just also got a reply back from Acumen, and yes apparently behind the LH fairing.

I assume it is OK just to unplug the loom?

should look like this, IIRC it has 4 terminals, (it is for the Gi pro anyways, apologies if it is different for the Acumen)

oh I was right then........ !! yes unplug and insert yours between the two.... then it will have a plug for your indicator to plug into.....(those looms are like rocking horse shite to get hold of).....

 

next question.......how do I set it up ??

Should be OK with the set up as I had one on an old bike, and the set up process is still on the website, but you never know....
