Hi Everyone just showing everyone my bike quite new to the forum, I have a lot of things in the pipeline for the bike, starting racing next year, just about to have full ketch suspension fitted, in the pictures here I have rear thumb brake and brembo 18x20 ration master cylinder.... I have had bike since road trim, wanted to build a race bike myself from ground up, 'I know its not the cheapest option lol'..... I have a question for anybody that has one... im looking to get a HRC sub frame... I am just wondering if anyone knows how much weight saving is in the HRC one compared to standard..... im also running Yoshi can with hm quickshifter plus and pc5.. had it dynod the other day at 165 bhp so not too bad.. just thought I would share with everyone my progress of my bike, I have big plans for this over the winter so I will post everything that is added to the bike. cheers and my names lee also on instagram firebladelee also fireblade lee on youtube
As above mate, keep us posted we do like a build thread on here And good luck with the racing next year. Ps what series are you going in, there are a few who started this year that may be helpful for some pointers/banter.
thanks colin I will put everything I do to it on here yes mate was going in this year but broke my back and legs in crash so all recovered now for next year im going into bemsee rookie 1000 my dad and his mate have been doing it this year and I have been going to meets and I want to give it ago
Hey mate, how's the ramp?? Good to see the bike coming along nicely.... Full ktech ey, nice! Where bouts you having that done? What you go for in front as looking to do mine at some point?? Is it weight saving your after? Think they save a bit as you lose all the pillion support which obviously weighs a bit but no idea ho much, seen some (maybe not Hrc) which seem to raise the ride height which might help it steer a little quicker if your after that? You seat unit will have to change also though mate as they are diff mounting points. I got this seat unit from a16 which looks super bike but fits stock subframe. Good luck with the racing mate! Didn't fancy no limits in the end? Either way, You'll love it....
Looks nice. Good body position it looks. Il be racing bemsee rookies too. Who's ur mate And dad I was there watching today. Hrc does save weight but think u should add some lead plates. U look too fast already I don't want a lot of competition
Jimbo hello mate... the ramp is awesome fitted perfect and has helped so much to get bike out on me own your bike looks awesome man.... yea I am after weight saving really.... because when going round the track I take all the zx10 and s1000rr on the corners but on the long straights they just smash past me, its like the tortoise vs the hare lol... just looking at ways I can save a bit.... I have heard its a bastard to fit but don't mind a challenge lol. Im getting the suspension from 100% suspension, I will fit rear shock and he will do the internals for me. was going to race with no limits jim but because my dad is in bemseee next year aswell we can go together so saves a bit of money, are you doing brands hatch again with no limits, if you are I will pop down and have a watch. how are you getting on with the racing
Hi Scott thanks mate... my dad is Kevan and his mate it keith, my dad rides a new R1 and keith rides s1000rr.. yea and its so expensive that bloody sub frame too just don't know if its worth the money... haha thanks mate only been riding 4 years and 1 of them I was in hospital from motorbike accident broke me back both legs and both wrist... proper poggered me self lol... are you going in rookie 1000s
