    Hi

    My name is Jack. I just bought myself a CBR1000RR-5 this week so I will be looking for information about the bike on here no doubt.

    I'm not into modifying bikes unless they are track bikes. So my Fireblade will remain standard weekend road bike. So far I love it - grin from ear to ear when I ride it. Just ordered a genuine Honda tank pad and that's about it for now :cool:

    The colour of the bike was not my favourite but now I like it very much. I found this bike locally - only 10 miles away from my home so I went to view it (twice). The bike appeared to be in a very good condition, has done only 6k miles. I am its 3rd owner now.

    I'd like to buy a cheap track bike next spring so money will be going for that. I don't deny some mods look tasty i.e. this Yoshimura RS-5 Stainless/Carbon Fiber Slip-On Exhaust 2004-2007 Honda CBR1000RR | eBay

    I just fitted a tank pad yesterday. I may also fit my favourite brake pads (Bendix MRR) and get some brake fluid (Motul 600). Sadly the bike has no braided lines. Also I don't know how much I can trust the Pirelli Diablo Corsa tyres that came with the bike. I've gone through a set of Pilot Power 3 tyres in my ZX6R and I would like to buy them for my Fireblade as well. Another option Pilot Road 4 for longevity and wet grip, but I'm worried they may affect handling. I didn't like the feel of Pilot Road 1, I don't know how much better Pilot Road 4 are.

    what's wrong with the pirelli's i run them all the time, ive currently got Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa BSB's on mine for the road and track i love them even more so than my metzler race tecs i used to run, i normally run rosso 2's on the road, they have always been good for me in the wet. Although i am looking at the new metzler m7rr's as well.
    Never had pilot's to be honest never been tempted either
    Also full system dude lol
