Bought a pillion seat for my RR7. It was supposed to be off an RR4 which I am pretty certain should be the same. Got sent this and it is totally different and has no chance of fitting.

Only identifying marks on it are Y5PW 15061 >PP<

Question is did I mess up and RR4 pillion seat is different, or did the seller mess up and send me the wrong seat?

Cheers folks, I think it is off an R1 as well. Contacted the seller so will see how it goes.

The whole thing has been the worst ebay transaction I have ever had to deal with.

Not a 600 seat, some sell those as being compatible with a blade. Did an image search last night and am pretty certain it is from a 2002-2003 R1

Here's an R1 seat on fleabay and apart from a different colour underside it look the same, triangle at front, curve on rear etc.

Got it from ebay a couple of years ago and it is pretty good. It is a bit soft and compresses a lot under the side stand etc, so I make sure I use a puck. Also if you put the weight in the wrong place it can flex up a bit, but it does go back down afterwards. Had mike bike on the Abba Stand for about 3 weeks and it went flat again within a few minutes.

If I had the money at the time I would have bought the stuff the wife uses in the stable. It is a lot more rigid and comes in bigger sheets.

Looks good that Horse matting but the design is a let down not being inter-lockable on all 4 sides IMHO
