I haven't nick, but just found these guys and might be cheaper and easier, they are up in Scotland The Tank Shop, Aluminium Petrol Tanks For Motor Bikes
I have a 24L tank and its awesome for sticking your leg into cornering. Youll need to get an HRC cover just
Would be helpful if you could say where we can also get one Souleh. "Youll need to get an HRC cover just ". What do this mean mate? Nick.
The petrol tank on a blade is covered by a fairing. Mine, with its enlarged HRC tank... requires a larger fairing. Ignore the prices as thats for a full fairing kit. Look at the shape difference and description Any fairing kit maker can usually provide these but CRC Fairings are deffo one of the best. This is what I use (except mines made from carbon fibre) CRC Fairings | Honda CBR1000RR 2008 - 2011 (HRC) Race Fairing Tank Cover
Oh sorry lol came with the bike im afraid. As far as I know theres alot of folk on the IOM who will modify OEM tanks to hold 24L for alot cheaper than those advertised here.
. Now that's a thought; cut and weld an OEM tank. After all, I just want to increase the distance between fill-ups. Nick.
Get why on a race bike especially enduro but not on the road. Unless it's to be different? which I understand.
