ANy7one here fitted a Interphone to there SHoei XR1100 lid? I have used the clamp, however find the bracket falls low and its awkward getting the lid on and off.. also when i put the lid down it rests on the interphone bracket.. Anyone got any idea's? i can mount it higher on the lid using the sticky back bracket, but not sure if this is a good idea? And if i do move the bracket up..the interphone moves away from the lid..near 1cm.
Not to a Shoei, but I have one fitted to my Shark. I borrowed an F5 in the summer and used the bracket then, I agree the unit sits low but didn't move at all during a weekend trip; fine for a temporary fit. Later on I bought my own F5MC and used the sticky pad as a permanent fix. I think the bracket is OK for a temporary fit, otherwise I'd use the pad...
I have the sticky pad, was thinking it would cone apart and may fall off...the bracket seems secure..
