I've seen quite a few Exhaust Manufs specify that you can 'upgrade' to a 60mm link pipe/end Can?

What are the Pros n Cons of this??

I presume less restriction giving more power plus more noise (u decide if that's a pro or con)

bigger pipe to take away the exhaust gases makes for better cleaner combustion=more power, well in theory at least.but it's not quite as simple as that or we'd all have 5" systems on our bikes.

it's not link pipe or end can, it's a complete system thinks to be ok with all their parts.

My ARATA long system is a 60MM end pipe, the ARROW competition system is a 52 when the arrow racing is 48......

ARROW,as all manufacturers make different systems for different circumstances, and have different ways of doing things, and different ways of getting 4 pipes into 1.Micron used to hydro bend their pipes so there wasn't any seams or uneven bends to help the gas flow.

the fun thing with arrows,is that as they make 3 or 4 diefferent sizes for the 08-blade,it;s a lottery buying and end can and baffle.

No, bigger pipe comes with bigger engine.

No gains between 2 size of system in the same engine.

With bigger pipe you need to bump compression or change cams to more agressive.

Only asking as I'm looking at p/x my Blade for a new Track prepped ZX10R, same as Matt's bought.

It come with a Full Akra Race system, but I want an Arrow system instead and was looking at the very confusing options!
