I am superb at causing carnage! Could have a degree in it by now. So, if myself and the right honourable YT were racing together, the carnage would be biblical. Sounds like a plan to me!

I'd gladly leave no limits mate to join you boys, would be a shame as I've met some good pals at NL this year, but I'd do it....

The crack is amazing and tbh we prob all think ours is the best and don't want to leave it but truth of it no doubt is that they are all prob the same.

My thing with hottrax though is the mixed grids, wouldn't enjoy racing against guys above / below my level on diff bikes, every race you don't know where you finish in your class, national guys big fishing it with novices on 600's?

Don't take it wrong way as I'm sure when there it's not an issue....

But I do like the NL approach of 35 blokes rolling onto a grid, with similar Acu level licenses and therefore experience all on the same bikes - ie capacity. So every guy you beat or beats you is pretty much on merit! You are where you are... And I like that about it tbh....

I'll be racing Hottrax Endurance next year as it's where Team Army Endurance make their home. I'll throw in a couple of MG600 & MPC 600 races also.

Next year tho jimbo you'll be clubman so the novice days will be over anyway... No limits cup is Clubman and National I'm guessing. If you did MG1000 with hottrax you get pre-national and national. There's never many novices tbh its mostly half n half clubman and national. Personally I love racing against people who are much quicker, gives you someone to try and follow

Dudes in novice this year are quicker than many national mate so that's not an issue! All miles quicker than me...

NL cup will be mainly clubman as the national boys run in Pirelli.

Not fussed about licenses either tbh as like you I like to learn off the quick guys, but I'd take no pride in beating a better rider than me only cos he's on a 600!

All the clubs I race with (which is 4 of them now), we have a similar sort of layout/race structure: Formula 600 and then an open class which is normally 600-1100. There is no separating novices at all and so the grids range from total novices to guys who have raced at national level. I have raced with people such as Johnny Blackshaw and John Ingram (who both do BSB) in the open races and then in the 600s we did have Sam Hornsey who races in British Supersports. It all makes for good racing but I do realise that trying to stay with guys like them is not going to happen easily. In fact it doesn't happen at all. Having said all that, at Aintree and Tonfananau, with similar grids, I have been getting top 6 finishes, so I must be doing something right.

Ok cool... I thought they run mixed grids 600 and 1000

The results I've seen seem like four classes per 20/25 bikes. Didn't fancy that tbh

They do in modern classics, for motogrande (equivalent to NL cup and super series) they just ran 600s and 1000s together at knockhill cos there was less people there
