I have removed the waste of space HESD damper from my 05 Fireblade to fit a GPR4. I now have a warning light (solid red) and "HESD" light on the dash. As this light also serves as oil and coolant light I'd like to get it to go out. Is it just a case of joining the wires that used to connect it or does it require a resistor across them?

It puts the bike in limp home mode too if its disconnected :( You should have a blank with the GPR damper dont you?

requires some resistor, I bought one from ebay some Italian chap was making them.. £16 I think it was..
