well you will be happy the max bid will be dropping back to yours as my mate is for pulling out and disputing any sale with ebay
Now thats a dodgy move!! Based on what mate? I dont know the seller and I was happy to go to 190quid this morning and may still increase my bid further after more thought. What is the dispute? That another guy off same forum is also interested in item?? Wow!
Openly admitting I am bidding on something yet didnt make the max bid. Now tell me what the issue with that is?? Maybe how you are interpreting it is more the issue.... Nice one fellow 1000rr community member!
nice try at deflection, you are trying to help the seller recoup his money but are only willing to pay 190, very good, hope the lad get the lights away at the price he wants, unfortunatley it won't be to my mate, who just to be clear had a max bid of the 300 wanted!!
Mate go take your vulture tactics elsewhere! Dude is out of work and trying to get as much of his money back. My max bid will probably be over 250quid maybe more. I was just seeing if another person wanted the new headlight I had recently bought so I could make more of an offer on this one so yeah this morning 190quid was my limit. Clearly he is not happy to pay the full price or this backing out wouldn't be occurring and I am basing that also on the low 200quid offer that was posted then deleted by your mate. Nice one!
then hopefully the lad gets the full price he would have got had you not interviened, there is no tactics unless you have some, i am not bidding so don't care one way or the other, the seller might if he doesn't get the price he wants
I'm am not intervening, I am as interested as your friend so an equal buyer in this situation. Sorry but you wound me up a bit suggesting something underhand was going on. It really isnt and ive wanted HID lights for ages and have posted about this in previous posts beforehand. I also don't know seller and haven't discussed this sale with him at any point other than on thread for all to see.
Navvy mate, am not bidding on them, my mate was, it's all about how he reads this not me, he has read it as underhand and to be honest as an impartial observer it does look that way with some of your statements, i am in no way saying it is, but that is the way it reads
Ok so I have been made aware of something called shill bidding. Artificially increasing price of item. I now understand this better but again I genuinely bid on these and still will. I do understand tho that after bidding then making that comment earlier could have been perceived as that. I can honestly say I wouldn't do that if not interested in an item
hopefully he will read that and take it as it is and keep his bids in, ma lug is nippin listening to his whine whine whine, hopeffully he reads this as well and stops feckin phoning me. lol
Ok well my apologies for the confusion! Not much of an ebay buyer personally and didn't know about the murky strategies used. I hope your mate sees it for what it is and I will in future be more careful when posting about auctions
no worries Navvy bud, if i came across as a bit of a dick sorry, wasn't intending to be, to be fair i am the diplomatic one, i know had my mate commented it would have started ww3 as he can be a bit brash, the main thing is hopefully the lad gets his lights away at a price he wants and i get some peace fae the phone burnin ma lug!!
Maybe we both overreacted a bit Good luck to your mate in the auction and sorry for causing an ear bashing!
Hey ... I have no control over who's active on my eBay items, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stop harassing my bidders and threatening a dispute on my sales If anything, it looks like you're trying to remove/dissuade the competition in order to win items cheaper.
The company is: http://www.ktmotorcycle.com/ No instructions were given, but I had tested them with my bike battery (not installed) and they worked fine
Is this it? http://www.ktmotorcycle.com/hid-pro...hp2-cbr108-for-honda-cbr1000rr-2008-2015.html Found the manual... http://www.ktmotorcycle.com/files/index/download/id/1432967267/ Acording to the manual there should be a angle eye / demon eye igniter in the loom (but not there) Can't seem to figure out were to connect these 2 connectors - a pic from the manual says use the igniter labeled 4..but that's not on the loom.. Did you get the angle eye and demon working? as from what i can see the connector is not part of the loom Any help appreciated...sure I'll figure it out eventually lol Have 2 of these connectors, but they only fit one of the connectors coming out of the light.
I'm pretty sure it all worked. Demon eye, low beam, high beam, halo ..... but it was over a year ago, so I've long since forgotten I think I made pictures or a video for DCB showing it all working, but I can't remember. Thinking about it, they could well have tweaked the design of the loom and components since I bought them, so although you found a manual online, it's probably best just to use it as a rough guide.
Actually ... if you look at the zoomed photo on their website you'll see that the thing you're asking about is the "LED Driver" I didn't purchase the LED's (which give it the foxeye/eyebrow look) so that'll be why it's not on the loom.
well got it working..did not switch well from low to high using the switch... http://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/hid-projector-headlight.26020/#post-375799
