The garage, that is. I'll be thinking about easier ways to tuck Bill into the back of it while keeping the space he takes up to a minimum. Without breaking the bank (I can just leave him on his stand, after all), I've been looking at these two ideas https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-mcd1-motorcycle-dolly?da=1&TC=SRC-dolly https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/laser-5671-motorcycle-standwheel-chock The wheel chock, I've seen before and seems to work well. The dolly looks quite funky but also an accident waiting to happen unless the floor's silky smooth. Anyone had any experience or thoughts...?
get a 1Jac stand.. everytime my bike goes into the garage now, its straight on.. i'm no way sponsered / affiliated to them (before some smart arse pipes up lol) by these guys but its genuinely a great tool..
Yeah they're great. I just don't need to throw that much wedge at it to be honest. A ton is fine to be able to park it upright and save a bit more space and if the dolly is more stable than it looks then it would be a sufficient substitute for the Con stand 1jac type.
I'd go with the first option me sen! Good value considering what it is! https://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/clarke-mcd1-motorcycle-dolly?da=1&TC=RV-020110139
Rear paddock stand ken? Little bit out there I know but quick, easy, and gets the bike upright in seconds???
Yeah, got one I use for maintenance. Not bobbin type though so tough to do single handed. Maybe get a bobbin one.
