So my engine management light is on, guys at the dyno said to drop off the side stand as they thought it would need it in order to check the codes. I had managed to do these on my GSX-Rs previously for the FI light (for my exhaust servo and the air blind kit I think). On the Suzuki you had to bridge out two wires on a multiplug under the seat and it would show a fault code on the dash. Guys said mine are for the steering damper (I've fitted a GPR and plugged an eliminator into the loom for this), and for my exhaust servo (again I've got an eliminator plugged in for it). I doubt that these eliminator are faulty, I may have had the ignition switched on without them plugged in though, does the fault stay until reset or cleared somehow?.

If there's a link to another thread for this with pictures it would be appreciated. Also a list of fault codes and what they mean?.

download the manual off here (somewhere) it tells you how to do it manually, and how to clear the fault memory.

it's basically the same way you do it on the gixxer, you just bridge the diagnostic plug on the rear subframe

Cheers. Sounds like a daft thing to say because a bikes a bike, but it's different changing Suzuki to Honda. Just wee things like all the bolts being different sizes, not having an oil sight glass, (and the main one so far!) not having a gear indicator on the dash!. Seems a lot more electronics/wiring on it as well when you take the tank off.
