Hey guys, what sort of security you have on your bikes as I am looking for something safe enough to install! I am looking for disc locks, datatag, alarms, etc so any advice would be ideal. Not garaged for the time being but parked on "secure" driveway.

    Many thanks in advance

I would invest in a decent ground anchor and chain to be honest as some alarms can be a pain with draining the battery and sometimes the sensitivity set to high and go off alot

    Is it an insurance requirement?

Good ground anchor and an Almax chain.

IMO and experience a complete waste of money.

As noted hard security gives the best chance, high quality chain and lock to something solid, and unless you have no option, leaving it outside is always last resort.

Just moved this out of new members into mods upgrades accessories & products.

For home security, think the first place you start to look at is the actual entry points into the bikes storage area.

Have a determined go at entering your own space, if you can get in? Then the pond life that wants to Nick off with your bike will find it no trouble.

CCTV cameras and alarms can be installed at a relatively cheap price and give you peace of mind covering the outside space.
