Jimbo does that not now belong to sinewave..........heard him sayin yours was damaged in spill at Donny n he was being helpful in swapping it out for you!
Yeah has various modes (road and race) as can be seen by my pics the top one is road showing smaller gear indicator to the right hand side with speed prominent at the top n centre, race shows large gear indicator in the middle front so it's easier to spot n read while trying to arm barge your rivals down the straights!
Not as glam as the one above but if you got to spend around the 450 mark you can usually get one secondhand !! Mine !!
But Jay the HM is plug and play using existing bikes loom rather than that spaghetti wiring job on that, and purchasing new HM back plates means dash can easily and quickly go with you to new bike purchases so suits more the plug n play consumer market!
HM dash for me over the winter to! I may sell my current 2012 dash as a "kit" with the 2012 loom also to make it more desirable, need to return as much wonga as possible to go towards the HM!
How come all the Pix I see of the HM Dash's all have no waterproof bung in the usb connection? Surely when it rains etc that's gunna fuck up?
Mine has the bung still there im sure it will be lost though . What's the middle red light for on the dash HM dash owners please (I've read no instructions) mine flickers on tick over
It's can be caused by not having the settings correctly setup, as standard the thing comes setup to include use of sidelights and indicators once those options are turned off the red light in middle goes out.
Cheers buddy didn't even know you could turn stuff like that off I had to unplug them off bike for a few weeks while being built and now they have lost gear indicator memory so will have to do that again
I found out by playin about in the menu's to see what the thing was capable of. On a Suzuki the dash uses the original gear indicator wiring so it's fed directly what gear the bikes in off the bat, honda's different in that respect as it doesn't use a direct gear indicator well on earlier models anyway.
The red light is oil warning light when not running, engine running light should go out, if on a race bike turn off the indicator warnings as they can twinkle away when not connected to anything, as you say late blades the gear position indicator works from the rotary switch, early models have to program it by running through the gears. Hundreds of features with the HM.
