HM Plus SS quick shifter

Just finished doing the valve clearance check and installing my new quick shifter. No oil leaks so all good so far.
I just need some base settings for the sensitivity and kill times on the shifter. The bike is only ridden on the road so shifts won't be at maximum revs very often. I think I read something either on the forum or on the HM site regarding a starting point but I can't find it again.

65 55 is a good base I think it does tell you s base in the online manual I think

 

Cheers for that I knew I read it somewhere - those plates still haven't arrived ha ha.

 

So is that kill time 65 and sensitivity 55 or vice versa?!

 

Sensitivity comes first in the menu - called HM today they told me to try Sen 60 Kill 57. The sensitivity is adjusted more to personal preference. I'll have a play over the weekend.

 

Sensitivity is what you need to get right with the SS as this is not adjusted on the Fly like the Kill time is.

As long as the Kill time is set to the max you'd ever feel feels nice then the electronics will do it as quick as it can under that time.

 

Need to adjust my HM SS on my 06 Blade as had Lurching when changing gear , My settings are Kill 55 , Sen 65 . Not quite right yet .
