Thought this might be an interesting topic and hopefully hasn't been done before (I did search) ... My first bike ... A 1996 Suzuki Bandit 600 which I spent several months rebuilding as was stood up for several years and was the reason for taking my test. I did 6,000 miles on it but riding to and from Liverpool from Bolton was hard work without fairings... So I bought this: A 1999 Yamaha Thundercat that I did over 40,000 miles on touring, commuting, scratching and track days... A superb bike but after 4yrs on it decided I wanted my dream bike ... Which was... This ... A 2002 Yamaha R1 (5PW) with 3,600 miles on the clock ... That I took up to 24,000 miles before I high-sided it and destroyed it ... Such a shame as it was immaculate ... So enjoying my R1 so much and whilst still waiting for my collarbone to heal I went out and bought this ... A 2004 Yamaha R1 (5VY) with 9,000 that I enjoyed massively and did a further 25,000 miles and tracked a bit as well... But after a couple of years I fancied a change, that change happened a bit earlier than expected due to some trouble with the bike which brings be up to date with the current bike ... A 2010 Honda Fireblade CBR1000-RA with 3,500 miles on clock. I've done about 800 miles on it so far and it's a good bike ... But I'm still not attached to it like I was with my Yamahas... But it's early days yet and I've not had a proper chance to go on a decent ride in favorable conditions... You?

Started with one of these in '87 Couple of years, first superbike '89 fzr600 12k miles later bought this zxr 750 h1 Year later and another 12k miles zxr 750 h2 2 years but only 14k miles got this in a swap with a car 6 weeks later swapped it for this About this time I bought this, and still have her and she's done 24k , 22k by me Kept the NSR250 for the summer of 93 then went back to Yamaha Two more years approx 20k miles got this Kept this for 4 years put about 30k miles on her, then back to kawasaki again 28k miles on her and loved it Suzuki again !! Just under 18k miles on this, then the penny dropped I needed a Honda in my life 20k miles then decided to hit the track so needed a cheap track bike to learn on Then decided that I could live with one on the road again so I hunted high n low to get this minter Turned out it was too good use so 6k miles later she had to go, and back to Honda Then another acquired for the track, check out the avatar.
I had a DT175MX Andy when I was a Lad! Got Bollocked regular by the local Plod for Wheeling it past the local Chippy of an evening trying to get Chix knickers off!
Lol ! That's the bike that stops me doing wheelies, used to wheelie every where, then the clutch lever snapped !! The bike flipped I landed on me ass in front of said chix's outside my local chippy....doh
