Hi all, I'm looking for a Tower of London poppy if anyone can help.
My wife rarely wants anything material, all she's really in to is clothes and holidays, both of which I can mess up all to easy if I buy them. It turns out she is gutted to have missed out on owning one of these poppies, so if any of you know where I can get one please let me know?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help offered.

Ye, I was kind of hoping that they were being sold in more than one place but it doesn't seem like they were. I suppose I'll have to keep an eye on eBay and hope one comes up....fingers crossed.

Was hoping to get one myself. Shame that some may want to profit through eBay though

I'm quite ashamed to admit I spend more hours in central London than anywhere else yet didn't get round to seeing the Poppy's. Quite terrible really despite feeling very proud by the display... And just down the road every day

I walk past the cenotaph every morning which is a reminder, but was just too busy (what a saddo) to see them.

Also applied for one as thinks its something special but didn't get a look in :(

Don't believe in karma but maybe if I'd made the effort.....

I'm sure you'll be able to get one once everybody has taken delivery, unfortunately for us though that might be made a little more difficult from what Dave posted.

    Cheers Dave.

That does seem a bit of a shame but we all have busy lives and sometimes things just pass us bye, like this has for both of us and Freedom of choice. Maybe if I'd been a bit more thoughtfull I could have actually taken Mrs B for a night out in London to see them for her self, I'm a bit disappointed it's been and gone now.

Thanks for the replies men and keep me posted if you here of any up for sale.

Can't help I am afraid - but I can say that each was unique and I am so pleased to have worked on my shift helping to clear them

I 'almost' blasted down on the final Sunday to see them but knowing I'd work there a week or so later I let the opportunity pass and like Jimbo and others regret it

If you missed it here is the film

Tower Poppies removal process- 3 minute film on Vimeo

I guess search on the net and you may get a link, just not via ebay - such a shame demand outstripped supply by such a margin

Cheers Al. Ye it's a shame I didn't take it more serious when I had the chance, these things happen and a little regret won't kill me. It would've been nice to get Mrs B something she actually wanted for Christmas for once though.

I'll keep trying different selling sites and hope my luck comes in, and if you happen to stumble across one please give me a bell.

    Thanks.

Final idea - there is a 'Tower Poppies' group on Facebook - perhaps put a post up there ?
