More rider aids we don't need..! I can't think of anything i would want projected in my helmet while riding.
I would want to see projected on to my visor the location of every copper within a square mile of my location. Seriously though a rear view would be handy and speed.. I like a gadget so quite tempted by this, I could also then pretend im Maverick!! Talk to me Goose, now where's my intercom..
Well at least I could remove my mirrors for road use and feel a bit safer on what's up my backside All depends how much of my helmet it takes up?
For those who like a light helmet I would wait until they shrink the weight, they are around 1600 grams plus from what I remember
just something else to distract you and break your concentration while riding. I'm sure these units will rack up more casualties as the riders have their vision on the in helmet display rather that whats in front of them.
Would find it useful for stuff like Satnav, speed cameras, rev counter, speedo, etc. Basically any info on your dash + toys and it would mean you wouldn't have to look away from the road and refocus each time you look up and down.
