Having a stupid moment... My battery is dead..I need to get one of those charging things on it...not a battery charger..but the thing that I am mean to have plugged in all the time. Anyone?
Not sure.if its knackered... Battery is only 4 months old (original Honda)..bike not been used for 3 months.. It may charge up...? Is there much difference between a optimate 3 & 4? As 3 is £10 cheaper.
Lol.. Am heading to hospital for a CT scan...and passing lids direct which is near by...will do me a optimate 4 for £45... Good price..as I see them fetching that second had..if not more? A
I had to put it in standard mode.. Battery seems to be working.. Been on for few hours.. How do I know if its fully charged...how long should it take?
it will through a period of charging put a series of tests on battery........ the idea is you leave these devices on for long periods if battery is flat it can put enough starting up charge in a little of half hour....... but the idea is you leave it plugged in for long periods........mine left on all winter....
