Posted 15.34 - no response - edited with my name 16.46 - totally irrelevant post in this thread and seems ya just picking for a reaction. Sums up what a tool you can be IMO. If you got a problem. Pm me you can have my details. Dick
My sense of humour is fine. And I get a running joke. That wasn't relevant and a dig, no reaction so you went again. Which is your wind up style. You got my pm so you know where I stand. So prob best to drop it. Before you (or me) ruin a perfectly good thread.
He's quiet tonight.. Think he's still trying to work out how to fit his rearsets the kwack. Think he started it thursday madd mats head mechanic I heard
To be fair Nick, we all love a good crack/running joke or however you wish to dress it up, it's for me what's been missing around here for a while, however, as much as I love to hear an old tune.... it wouldn't be the first time you've got a bloody nose for continuing with what you felt at the time to be just harmless fun, Harmless? Or is it just a case of members being over sensitive? Personally speaking going totally off topic is par of the course, but then strategically placing & then editing your post to get a reaction from a specific member? others along with my self would see it as trolling. It's going to be a long enough winter as it is, So please Let's just take the hint & learn from previous experiences and not go down the same road again.
Well, I guess that's what the PM button is there for Nick. It wouldn't be the first time it's been used in this manner and I'm sure it won't be the last, it's sole purpose is so individuals can sort out their business/differences away from prying eyes on the main forum pages without turning the whole thing into a bun fight. You dangled your bait and you got a bite. Those who stir the shit pot, should expect to get a lick of the spoon.
Sorry Boy's, went to bed early last night as I'm still suffering with this Virus/throat thingy! Anyway, got my and me So lets have some more and all fall out again like last Winter eh Dave?
Thanks for the advice folks. As I mentioned, I've never done a bike trip before and as funds are tight I have to buy second hand. So, this is a rookie question... Would I be better off with something like this tail bag to strap to the bike (06 blade) Or side panniers like this?
Definitely the tail pack. It will strap to your pillion seat, will remove easily and you won't need to worry about strapping panniers down.
Agree with Muffking, tail pack. To save on money for our euro trip earlier this year my dad got a 40ltr dry bag and used bunggies to strap it to the tail of his gsxr. Something like the below link. It needs to be the type with thicker material (just in case) rather than the type that would go inside a rucksack. RIBER DRY BAGS ALL SIZES 5 10 25 40 LITRE CANOE KAYAK WATER BOAT SAILING NEW | eBay
