Expensive for Chinese fairings, and they say the headlight will fail the mot. Only good bit is that they are available quickly.

Guys, at some point next year, I intend buying my first blade, hopefully a 2010. How do I tell which bikes have original Honda fairings and which have the Chinese replacements? Is there any easy telltales which can be seen on advert photos?

Would agree with Barstewardsquad, probably made in China as the cost of tooling in Europe would be massive. My son has a set from China on his RR5, not to much hassle to fit just a little bit of fettling as previously said.I believe the set was from "Neverland" but have noticed a couple of tabs fixings have already broken off after just a couple of months use. For the money though happy enough.

You will struggle unless there are a lot of photos and they are good ones, not your normal ebay resized jobs.

If you can get hands on then the job get gets a lot easier.

If you are buying aftermarket fairings TELL the dealer if he services it.I didn't tell my local dealer,he broke two tabs off trying to get the bellypan off.
