Ive been using DID520 with talon sprockets. Just found a tight spot so its time for a new one (again,..) and just wondering how long most are getting from theirs?

    Thanks

I use DID 520 and change when I feel it's time. I check it regularly with all the tyre & wheel changes.

Ofcourse but what sort of length of time do you get from it? Miles been annually too but big tight spots just wondered if it was normal. Bastard lol cant even be 1000 miles per chain.

I go through them a lot quicker on the track bike with the 520 than I do with the 530 on the road bike but the time really varies but annual is about right.

I'm not a racer or heavy track day rider (currently) think I did around 6 or 7 last year.

Spose it really does depend on how it's riden and looked after? The chain on the 929's done over 20k, around 3 years and could now do with changing. It's does have a scot oiler fitted.

Won't get anything like that from the chain on the RRA, pulling wheelies really takes it out of the chain
