    Interesting from a geeky POV, but it does seem to be a solution looking for a problem.

    Not at all. We've trialled a similar Android based device that Dell make called the Cloud Connect. It can be used for digital signage and as a large format touch screen kiosk, as well as a "VDI in your pocket" style device so you can take your work desktop anywhere. Lots of potential imo.
