Would anyone be at all interested in my old suit before I stick it on the 'bay?? I'll try to get some pics up later if anyone's interested. They're not in perfect condition by any means. I bought them with a scraped forearm but have dyed them back to colour. The internal liner was ripped in a couple of places but I've done a rough repair on those too. It's stopped any further ripping and tidied up the inside of the suit. One of the shoulders along with the metal is a bit scraped and the leather inside the suit is a little chewed up where the zip's hit it. All of this was exactly as I purchased it and I've had the suit for about 4 years. As I mentioned it's not in primo condition but I'm not looking for a primo price. Here's a pic of me wearing the suit on one of the Northern runs.
I'm honestly not sure, mate. It's a former top-of-the-line Dainese suit......obviously you've seen it......but it's not in the best nick and I'd rather someone off here got it for a bargain rather than trying to punt it on to some whining arseh*le on fleabay Essex Bikers Centre are selling exactly the same suit (same colour / size etc) on ebay in excellent used condition and they're asking for £599. I'd be happy to get £120 + postage for mine from someone on here. I'd reckon that'd be about right.
I'm tempted for now, as mine is fooked after my off,, and beyond repair. Has it stretch panels though, as my 42 is slightly too small for me as it is. LOL. The one i want is over a grand, so still saving up, this would see me through the spring.....
Lol!! Here's another pic of the suit on. You can see where the zip's caught the leather on the inside of the suit and chewed it. Excuse the "Hello Sailor" pose.
