Sadly selling my Blade and many other goodies. I have started to put them on Ebay but if any of you guys want stuff, just let me know or have a bid. So far I have put the bike up 2012 HONDA CBR 1000 RR-C BLACK 20th Anniversary edition | eBay And also some SW Motech Blaze panniers, which are brilliant An as new RACEFIT GROWLER I also have a mint genuine Honda Gel comfort seat which I very recently bought from one of the boys on this forum, which has yet to go on Ebay. There will be more to come as I start to clear the garage of Bladey items! Gutted that I can't afford to keep the Blade as well as the new GS. I am doing a lot of touring with pillion and luggage and have finally had to accept that the Blade is not best suited to this kind of work. I have always had a Blade, ever since I started riding. I hope I am doing the right thing.
Hi , I've placed a bid on your panniers , how much do you want for them ? Also would you consider selling the hugger that's on the bike now ? And the rearsets aswell ?
Cookie! I have just replied to you by email but...I'll take £150 delivered for the panniers. As a far as the hugger and rearsets.......and indeed anything else which is mentioned as coming with the bike in the Ebay advert, I will obviously have to wait to see what happens in the auction before I start pinching bits !! Stevie..I don't know the age of the gel seat but it's in minty condition. I had been looking for one for ages. Gutted that I don't need it now! Yes it will fit a 13 bike. Looking for £130 delivered on it.
Good luck with that mate. My previous bike was a BM'. Not a GS I hasten to add. If you read the various BMW forums the general opinion is that GS owners are a snooty, anti-social lot and well up there own arses. Could be some truth in that 'cos in my experience, even when I was out on my 1100s they rarely acknowledge a friendly wave from a fellow biker. I suspect you'll soon be back here amongst this friendly, uncritical lot lookin' to buy another 'blade.
The Gel seat has now been sold to one of the fine gentlemen on this forum! Re comments about santimonious old twats on GS's...I will not be one of them and will continue to nod and wave merrily at everyone! A friend has a GS and he confirmed that other bikers do not tend to nod at him !!!! I will miss my Blade horribly and when finances permit, I will certainly get another one. They are in my humble opinion, the best litre sports bike for road use, superbly competent, reliable, easy to ride and good at everything. I have ridden Pangales and S100RR's. They are ace track bikes but I find the Blade better on the road. I will stay on the forum and pine for my Blade
Growler! There is a great deal of interest in this!!!! The first person to offer me £350 delivered (UK) will get it!
