Not much snow in Aberdeen this winter so far, so decided to head up to the Lecht Ski centre this morning. About 1hr-10min drive away as the roads were not great due to drifting.. White-out conditions unfortunately put paid to the fun! was -5 DegC in the car.. + the wind chill - bloody freezing!
Nice one Gilesy, sometimes the simplest things in life like looning around in the snow can give you some of the best memories with the family.

At least you had some snow. Eldest just got back from a school skiing trip to Switzerland where the had to do a 2.5 hour drive each day to get to the snow. Of course it did snow heavily on their last night though.
Typical eh! Aberdeen has missed most of the snow so far this year.. but its simply just over an hours drive away - like in another world!

I love a bit of snow, hope we get some!! Sledges for sale in Home Bargains yesterday but knew if I bought one can guarantee the snow wont come
Love Aberdeen, sister lives just outside by Dyce, nice area and can drive off in to the highlands or other areas for outside activities too. Just a bit cold at times though.
Very light dusting here this morning. The dog enjoyed it though and it made the field we walk in look very picturesque. No photos though as hands stayed inside the gloves
