Just had a meeting with one of my paint suppliers. We are in negotiations as we speak talking about stocking a new product. I as a bike owner have been looking for something that is easier to apply than the clear film and motografix kits.Especially the front fairing sc59. This new product is a spray rubber skin that protects everything and when you have had enough or want to sell your bike you simply peel it off.Sounds good doesn't it?Keep you posted when a sample comes in for me to try
not 3m.Its the gloss clearcoat and matt clearcoat I'm interested in for the bike. RUBBERcomp -rubber coating, Maston - Car-Rep
That I didn't know. 3M is not stocked by my suppliers anymore. All their products are good.Indasa and Mirka seem to be the preferred consumables just lately amongst the body-shop lads.
I rate Mirka highly. I use a lot of their papers and pads for detailing work. More info here: 3M Paint Defender Spray Film with synthetic wax - Sprayable Paint Protection Film, 90000 - 3M Auto
Sounds potentially interesting, and hopefully a lot easier to apply than ventureshield. Let us know how you get on...
Stone chip protectors are for little girls, i ride naked so i can feel those stones penetrating the skin
Me too, Jez. Keep us up to date. It would appear the applications are endless. Wonder what it's like for garage floors...
