hi all what size spacers do I need to upgrade my front discs from 310 to 320 I have brembo m4 monoblocks on the way so want to get new discs but want the 320 size its for my cbr 1000 rr 4 thanks in advance chaps
As far as I am aware, you won't need the spacers. If you put 320mm discs with the original Tokico calipers, then 5mm spacers are needed. The Brembo monoblocks are designed to be used 320mm discs and the extra length is built into the design I spent ages trying to get caliper spacers for my cbr600rr when I fitted the Brembo M4's.......only to realise there wasn't needed after all
You can also buy them from Demon Tweeks as I use 320mm discs on my track bike. The kit is called a Brembo Serie Oro spacer kit around £30ish.
thanks daz but as ive gone for the brembo m4s I was thinking about getting bigger discs so as the guys have said I may not need them unless I stick to the 310 discs I have on bike at the moment but thanks I will bear you in mind if I end up sticking with the 310 ones due to cost thanks again
No worries mate.. See how you go. If you need them just drop me s pm with your address and I'll post them up free of charge. I have 2 sets
Daz, if you fit the Brembo M4's, then you will have to use 320mm discs. Like I sais ealier, the Brembo M4's sit further out from the forks than the Tokico's
I understand what your saying now gary thanks so I will have to replace the 310 for 320 looks like brembo T drive will have to be orderd more expense nothing cheap when your blinging lol
