Puts me off towing at 50-60 mph but suppose it's the cheapest way forward

Got to say, I would be stuck without the caravan. It just makes life at race meetings much easier, plenty of space to change, have a kip, cook something.......

I think it is the right move for sure. For circuits that don't have garages, I use the awning thingy which is big enough for the 2 bikes. The caravan is just like home from home really and it means you can sort of get a decent night's sleep. So much choice out there too.

Caravan and Gala tent/ garage. 2 years ago me and team mate SteveC used a 10x6 4 wheel box trailer to transport the bikes and as we were doing endurance we always had a garage so emptied bikes etc then set up trailer with carp fishing fold away beds and kettle and micro wave, this served a purpose and was great fun and logistically was great. last year we got a 4-5berth caravan towed with bikes in the van and would never go back to the trailer. It is great to have some where warm and dry to eat and sleep and be comfy in. Towing itvat 60-65 is not as humdrum as you would think and sharing the driving takes away the boredom.

I have a caravan for this year converted to also carry my bike as well only lost the shower to allow for bike but all circuits have showers so no problem there.

There is one on eBay now which is also converted to carry up to 3 bikes the add says starting bid at £400 it's located in Kent and also comes with an awning

If you search "race caravan "on eBay you will see it .
