Currently on standard gearing ... what do you use?

When I first bought the bike I thought the gearing was a little high so bought a 44T rear sprocket... I've yet to fit it, but after doing 1500 miles I'm not sure now if the gearing really needs changing! :)

I always added 2 to the rear on the road really improved pull out the corners and has no real effect on top speed.... That you'd notice on the road anyway if you do good luck to you

standard, at motorway speeds always felt like I needed an extra gear. Always wanted +2 on the rear but think the aforementioned would feel worse??

I'm going -1f +2r on mine, will lower the top end but rarely spend time right up there so getting up to speed quicker is better for me.

If you went +2 on the rear, traveling at your normal speed which I'm sure is no more than 70mph ;) your engine revs would be higher and thus burning more fuel. Might be something to consider if you are watchful of how much fuel you use

With a plus 2 I had a 55 rear profile tyre and it pretty much cancelled out the change on speedo, on motorway there may be a few 100 revs more but nothing that makes a big difference to fuel consumption I didn't notice it on my 120 mile a day commute :)

-1 on the front and its come up just on roll on in second gear at about 60. Perfect for single carriageway or motorway showing off
