Just watched you and the rest of the army boys at Donington on Motors TV this morning, early hours, before going to work. Some tidy riding on display, well done.
Ick thinking of getting myself a trackbike soon (not racing) quick question if you were just going to be doing track days would you have still bought the r6 or gone straight for a litre bike ? btw you need to get the Swan fairings back on the front
Definitely gone for the R6 again. I feel like I can push the boundaries of the bike more on a 600 than on a 1000 when on track. By going down to a 600 I'm more confident of getting on the throttle much much earlier out of a corner whilst still banked over, braking later and releasing later into a corner and also carrying much more lean angle. I think a couple of more track days and I'll have the confidence to start sliding the back out of corners at will. If I start to feel I'm reaching the limit of a 600 in the future I'll look at getting a 1000 track/race bike but at the moment I'm having far too much fun on it and am nowhere near the limit of what the bike can achieve. Basically by dropping to a 600 its bringing on my riding at a rapid rate and I'm having a massive amount of fun doing it
The newest shape zx6rs seem to be fairly solid out of the box but a good r6 seems to be a great weapon of choice! Would love one
One of my Team Army Endurance Racing teammates has put this together, primarily aimed at trying to bring sponsors on board but a good little page for our team along with the Facebook and wordpress pages. Team Army Endurance Racing
