    Hello there,

Need new tires for my RR9. Currently have Pirelli Rosso II fitted. Seen good reviews on Metzeler M7RR last year. Just wondering on other peoples thoughts. Bike only used in dry conditions.

The main tyre people a getting as a good all rounder is the
Michelin PR4's, sure others will be along soon.

Don't think you'll do much wrong with the M7's. You going for the 55 rear?

M7RR is the way to go on the road, l like it much better than the sportsmart and sportsmart 2 !

More sporty and more mileage ! only good news.

I ll try the new Racetec RR K3 for the road this summer.

Not tried the m7's myself.Rosso II's are nothing compared the rosso corsas for grip.I tried rosso II late last year and couldn't drive out of the corners hard without spinning. The tyre fitter asked me what I was doing with them cos he had never seen them so ragged.Gone back to rosso corsa this year.

I'm fitting m7rr to my blade this morning used them on my r1 on the track last year for two track days after riding across Europe to mugello and there is still life in them unreal tyre heat up really quick, and when they slide really predictable and you have to really push them to get them to move

I've currently added just 30 miles to a new set of MR77 that I have to give a review on. Heard very good things myself and once I have added more miles and will be doing fast road and track days n them I'm going to give a nice review on my view of them.

On the subject if tyres, I'll be needing a new rear before march and undecided as what to do, already fitted are mich pilot power, question is do I replace rear like for like or or upgrade and change both tyres(front has plenty of life let). Weekend blasts only.

If you are using the same make/type of tyre then keep the front. If not then really you should change as a pair. I maen it is not reallt a clunker of a station bike that you are riding right?
The tyre is the only thing between you and the road at 180mph.
