Hi chaps Just about to order a hrc rear reservoir kit from dobles £10 delivered includes all 4 parts needed just wondered if you guys had some feedback on these before I take the plunge bike only for road use and really only for cosmetic reasons and feel the oe reservoir is a bit tight with way rear sets are positioned for me any feedback piss take welcomed
I've just bought one. I'll be fitting it this weekend. I know that some people encounter issues with the tube sweating brake fluid and the tube going milky after a while. Some don't though. I think Nutty Tart on here has one and has had no issues. I think she used synthetic brake fluid though.
I've had one for a few years. They are not perfect because the brake fluid "sweats" on the hose - IE the hose is not chemical resistant like it should be, so the fluid will look like condensation on the outside of the hose some mornings. The fluid needs to be regularly checked and topped up because of this.. but it looks cool as! so in my opinion still worth having..
Use Tygon hose instead... it won't sweat. I used to use Tygon hose with blue ATE racing fluid ... looked awesome
yes always meant to get some Tygon ordered years ago after researching the sweating.. just never got round to it..
