Well I've been hunting around for ages it seems for the perrfect Brake Lever guard. Do I need one...erm no. Do I want one... erm yes! They are a bit of bling to be honest and I even though I plan to track my road bike a bunch this year, still like the idea of having one of these for those "oh shit" moments Tons of these to choose from.. I think it will be a bit of a marmite one this, so I will reserve judgement until I see it on my baby Found this one ona bike for sale, and with a bit of detective work, tracked the manufactures down and ordered one today!
well.. its not for sale on their website as yet as its pretty much a brand-new product.. so you have to call them.. its Reactiveparts Reactive Parts: Performance Motorcycle Race bike Parts UK - talk to Chris or Steve..
DOh.. not deliberate.. trying to multi-task tonight making a presentation for a client dog & pony show wednesday.. and drink a fine Bordeaux, and chat to you bunch, and nod at the wife when she is talking like I understand what on earth she is talking about haha.. Was £120
Very nice Gilesy. I bought a pair of these for mine : SATO RACING | Lever Guards Just for bling of course, but the brake one may come in handy one day. My OCD would not allow me to have just one
There's a chunky looking one that someone advertised on tdr. That looked really good. Can't remember the name
I have these, had them for a few years now, still look as good as new despite taking a few hefty knocks, including dropping the bike whilst wheeling it about and the guard taking the full hit.. PROGUARD SYSTEM by Rizoma Bikes Accessories -
Well its arrived and I'm not liking it.. going away to call them and see if they will change it for the lightech one
a couple of pics of the carbon guard.. I called reactive parts today and they are going to change it. Its just simply not good enough quality wise for £120, and certainly not good enough to go on my bike.. shame but the lightech one will be a good replacement.
