    To be honest I've never owned any base layers, just wore shorts and T-shirt underneath.
    I would imagine they feel more comfortable and make it easier to take your leathers off on a hot sweaty day? Got to be worth a punt at those prices

    Aldi base layers are great for under a 1 piece race suit, especially when it's a hot day. Can get the suit off easily without being stuck to yer. Dunno bout the lido gear
