Can anyone confirm the code /size of the rear wheel bearings for 2008 model. refuse to pay Honda prices! Removed them for painting and thought it would be easy to replace, but not as easy as I first thought. seems 2004-2007 bearings can be purchased quite easy but for some reason very few listings for the 2008 if any. Not bothered with sprocket carrier that can wait. I believe the rear has two different sizes Disc side bearing ---------6205---inside/d 25mm outside/d 52mm width 25mm Sprocket side bearing----6005 --inside/d 25mm outside/d 47mm width 12mm Looking at a 2007 model I can"t see the difference except the the dust seals! Same part numbers! doing my head in... Anyone replaced theirs recently? Help or input Please!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have the numbers go into any bearing supplier and get them for 1/2 the price of Honda tho some bearings are specials and they may have to order in. Get a quality make tho'.
