Seat units for 08 11 and 12 to present

    Are they different, I have a 2012 and it just doesn't seem to look as sleek as some that I have seen.

    I am looking at track bodywork btw, sorry if this is a dumb question.

    The subframe is the same but the tail unit is different on the 8-11 compared to the 12 onwards model

    Are the earlier ones slimmer looking?

    Yes, Tail unit on a 08 - 11 is slimmer than on the 12 onwards.

    tail unit is slimmer, but the pillion seat itself is the same. when i got my bike there was no pillion seat so i bought a new one from a 2014 from padgetts off one of their race bikes.

    I'm looking out for the SP seat cowl at the moment because it looks better than the 'normal' one
