great news mate, hope it all works out... went through the same here about 2 yrs ago, we were together for 8 yrs adn were in a strut, had a 1yr old daughter, just bought a place together and I met someone else ...... I was honest to her, moved out for 3 months and finally got back together and all is well now... Although I do except that the sex won't get any better or more often, how ever much I complain about it :D :D ..... that's why I race bikes, gotta get my thrill somewhere these days :D :D

Best of luck mate and if you feel like a chat send a pm.... been there done that kind of crap !

    ***Shitty Update I'm afraid***

Ok, Im gonna make it short because...well because I need too.

I'm unfortunately having to resurrect this old thread, as my wife felt that nothing changed enough for her since our last episode and to cut a long story short I am currently sitting in a bedroom in a shared house and no longer in my family home.
I have been doing this for a approx a month now, and really wasn't certain wether to divulge or burden 1000rr with all my domestic woes. But various people have messaged or had convos with me and lets just say Ive not been as attentive as maybe I should of been, for that I apologise.

Ive read back through all the messages you lot put first time round and they really helped all over again so don't feel you have to repeat yourselves as its not necessary.
Im trying to stay chirpy and keep a little bit of optimism despite my world imploding! I will try to do and attend as many events (aka goodwill etc) to stop me feeling sorry for myself. but if i do come across as a moody ol git...you know why now!
I see my lil man Max every weekend (which kills social life but at present i need that amount for my smiles). He is taking it very well and is enjoying the me and him time with lots of days out together.
I look forward to seeing some of you at Goodwood, as well as any other events i can get too.
Cheers for reading and sorry for posting shit news
    Bill

Really sorry to read your recent update, my last post kind of feels quiet hollow right now, truly sorry it hasn't worked out for you and you can get your head around the massive changes happening in your life, it would seem ambitious of me to say things get better, but they will with time, focus on the good 'max' and that will give you the strength to get through the bad.
Takes courage to be open about things on personal level even from the safety of a computer screen, Heh we're blokes we talk bikes and bollox right?
Wrong. We're all human beings Bill, and sometimes we need to off load shit. And as you know, my doors always open.
Take care mate, may the path to you future be a little smoother.

Zip looking at the number of friends you've got here there's lots of advice offered. I had to leave home too but I cried it all out to my parents and they were so supportive it was unbelievable. Look after your son who is so precious to you both. Re the debt issues contact Step change who are really helpful in agreeing a financial way forward and check housing associations for accommodation good luck it will get better and keeps us all posted on progress.

Really sad to hear this mate. Was in a similar position myself some years ago,had to sell our cracking house and buy a flat in shitty part of town. To make matters worse the ex moved to the other end of country with our daughter. On the plus side I now have a lovely wife,2 more beautiful children and she bought me the blade. Here's hoping things turn out better for you soon, take care.

Been there sold the tshirt to pay for the solicitor. For what its worth. You and your x are still parents so if you both focus on that point gor the good of your son. Then do whatever you can to solve the finances together. The solicitors are in general useless and cost you both a fortune . Suggest mediation to resolve finances. Good luck mate and put your sin first and you will be fine. I suggest you get somewhere your son can stay with you .
